How To brush a wig?

Brushing your wig properly helps maintain its style, prevent shedding, and extend its life. At Rooted in Royalty, we recommend using a wide-tooth comb or wig brush, especially for curly or wavy textures. Always start from the ends and gently work your way up to the roots, holding the hair at the base to avoid tugging on the lace or wefts. For curly or textured wigs, brushing when dry can cause frizz, so use your fingers or a detangling brush on damp hair instead. And remember — be gentle. How do I check the status of my order?

Can I cancel my order?

We understand that things happen! If you need to cancel your order, please reach out to us as soon as possible at our customer service email or through our contact page. Orders can only be canceled before they are processed or shipped, so the sooner you contact us, the better. Do you allow exchanges?

Yes, we do accept exchanges under certain conditions. At Rooted in Royalty, we want you to absolutely love your crown. If you need a different length, texture, or style, you may request an exchange within 7 days of receiving your order, as long as the hair is unused, unwashed, unaltered, and in its original packaging.
To begin an exchange, simply contact our customer service team with your order number and reason for exchange. Once approved, you'll receive instructions for sending the item back. Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping unless the exchange is due to an error on our end.
We do not accept exchanges for custom wigs or products that show signs of wear. Our goal is to ensure every queen receives a flawless, untouched product — just the way royalty deserves.

What are the shipping charges?

At Rooted in Royalty, we currently offer standard shipping for a flat rate of $8 on all orders. We’re also proud to provide free standard shipping on every order over $250 — because queens deserve a little extra.
